To be able to love the life that you are living, you have to be living the life that you love. Are you doing anything that stimulates you, makes you feel alive or gives you the happiness that you are looking for? I hope that you are not just wasting time “existing”. In my blog post “Existing”, I talk more about letting life pass you by while “existing” and some ideas on how to spice up your life. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s time to “Get Up, Get Out, and Get In”! Each day I’m learning how to live the life I love and to do it on my own terms. If you don’t try then you’ve already failed.
Remember to always Live, Laugh and L.O.V.E.
While pulling weeds today, and I tell you there are a lot if those buggers, it occurred to me just how resilient they are. You spray, chop, pull, dig, spray some more and what do you get….. more WEEDS. We can learn something from these troublesome plants. What could we possibly learn from a weed you might ask? Well, I believe we could take notes on how persistent they are. We could apply that persistence to our own lives when we are pursuing our purpose. Just think, whenever things don’t go as you had planned or those times when you want to throw in the towel, how persistent and resilient the weeds are. No matter what happens they keep on coming back; they keep living. Don’t through in the towel, keep coming back again and again just like the pesky bothersome weeds.

What does three men, a dog and one woman have in common? Well at first glance nothing, but after a little digging you’ll see we have several things in common. We all met briefly while hiking in one of the beautiful East Bay Regional Parks in Oakland California.
While the HoneyBee and I were out hiking in the beautiful Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, CA. two weeks ago, we had the pleasure and opportunity to meet some very friendly people along the way. Wait, before I get into that let me tell you about the experience of the hike and walking beneath giants.
Well, let me tell you if you haven’t seen a redwood tree you have missed seeing one of the most magnificent sights ever and if you’ve had the opportunity to see some redwoods then you know what I’m talking about. Now let me tell you about walking beneath hundreds of these magnificent giants, it’s something very spiritual and almost humbling. So, our day started out around 8:30 am when we arrived at the Redwood Bowl Staging Area where we parked our car and begin our hike. We started out on the West Rim Trail which is nice and shady. We followed the West Rim Trail until we reached Orchard Trail which started our downward descent into the lower area of the park. Before we started down my HoneyBee said, “Jeanine, you know if you go down you have to come up somewhere”. Me being me said, “I know, I know let’s go I’ll be okay”. He warned me one last time, but me being me just I kept on going. Continue reading “3 Men, A Dog & 1 Woman?”
When you know that you have purpose and that God is in your life .. you may not know how you are gonna make it through troubled waters…
You may even be uncertain of when you will see rewards for being so loyal, and faithful… but when God shows up… God shows out!
So pump yah brakes and add some patience mixed in with a little bit of faith .. Which goes a long way. .. so just imagine how much a lot of faith & patience will bring?

Are you just existing? Life, is an active phase; you have to be participating. What do I mean when I say “participating”? Well, I mean you have to be doing something with your time. You have to be making every moment count and living your life to the fullest. You shouldn’t be just existing, doing the same things day in and day out. Getting up at the same time, going to work at the same place, eating the same blah lunch, coming home, eating some blah meal and plopping down in front of the television for the same boring movies and/or television shows that you’ve seen thousands of times before. That’s not living, actually it’s almost less than existing if there is such a thing. That sounds more like a robot or something that is moving around doing the same mundane activities everyday of your life, oops I meant to say existence. Continue reading “Existing”
This is something that I wrote back in December of 2010 for a project that a family member put together. She posed the question, “What’s Going On?” to everyone in the group and asked each of us to write about what we thought was happening in the world. The following are my thoughts about what was and is going on in the world. Continue reading “What’s Going On???”
