Garbage In, Garbage Out

How does one begin to live the life that they have envisioned?  I believe the answer to this question can be and is different for everyone.  For some it may mean making a detailed plan and for others it may mean diving in head first.  Whatever the mode of attack is one thing is for sure, you MUST be in a positive environment.  Yes, the environment MUST be positive.  Guess what?  It all begins with you, so let’s begin.

First of all you have to stop feeding yourself negativity for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Stop living on “I can’t”; “I’m not good enough”; “I’m not smart or intelligent enough” and all of the other negative snacks that you’ve been eating.  It’s time to replace this junk with more healthier positive meals of “I can”; “I’m good enough”; “I am smart or intelligent enough”.  Your thoughts are very powerful and even though you may not think so, all of those negative thoughts are seeping into your mind, taking root and making you miserable.  Replace the negative with the positive.  Remember “Garbage In’ Garbage Out”.

Second you’re going to have to clean your house of negative relationships.  Now, this is going to be more difficult than the first task and I know that there will be resistance on many levels.  However, it’s for the best and you will be so much happier when it’s all over.  This is where you’ll have to remove all of those negative people, friends and maybe some family as well.  You know the ones that never have anything positive to say, they’re singing the same old sad song every time you see them.  They won’t go without a fight, but they MUST go.  To move your life in a positive direction you MUST clean house.

Third, surround yourself with positive influences, the more the merrier.  You want to have positive people, music, books, television programs and anything that you spend time doing needs to be positive.  Also, include some form of exercise or an activity that you enjoy doing.  We’ve all heard about exercise releasing endorphins that trigger a positive feeling in the body.  It doesn’t have to be anything strenuous, a walk around your neighborhood or in the park.  Make sure that you consult your physician before starting any new exercise or fitness programs.

Now, if you’re ready to start living your life in the way that you have envisioned it, please use these suggestions as a starting point.  Of course there are other ways that you can start the process and you may have already started your process using other suggestions.  The important thing is that you start.  Remember, if you put garbage (negativity) in your brains, you’ll get garbage (negativity) out.  Live, Laugh, Love
